longer larger phillips head screwdriver , and press into teh end of it as you turn. You should get it.
Otherwise i have a impact hammer that will take that out in a sec
thanks for the quick response ben.
i attempted it with a large phillips head and tried pushing in, but its really tight. the other one came out pretty easy.
its the only screw left to take the door trim off lol.
larger philips head is pretty much the only way to do it short of impact screw driver(bit overkill?!)
you just have to make sure that the larger head on the philips head actually fits into the screw groove and not just sitting on the edges
yup might be rusted from behind , or loctite there to hold it.
Try to be careful not to slip with a screwdriver as it will round the edges.
Worst case scenario , you can easily drill it out.
lol at the wd40 dribble.
get some man power into it dude
lol.
Close the door, use one hand push hard on the top of screwdriver and the other hand turn it anti-clockwise
thanks for all the input, tried hammering the screw driver then turning while putting pressure on but still nothing too tight, not going anywhere.
so looking for the right size drill piece atm hahah.
thanks
had same issue. used the drill, out it came in a second.
nonono....heres the big question. are you unscrewing the right way?
;)
IMPACT SCREWDRIVER.
Buy one - you absolutely will not regret it.
sorry to hikack,
but ihave the same issue, but with my rear spoiler.
i've tried all of the stuff mentioned above and it still won't unscrew?
any ideas?
just drill it out your going to need to patch it up either way magic.
will try to get someone to hold the boot next time, if it doesn't work i'll drill it off :D
cheers guys
