Personally I hate chrome wheels. Those wheels belong on a yanks' Civic. I would swap them. And what is that thing on the fual cap? Looks wierd. However, you can't help but appreciate a work in progress.
If you got rid of that decal and swapped the wheels - that thing would look schmik dude. :thumbsup:

Why is it that everybody here hates chrome and bags yanks with there vics? Personally that is a sweet ride and chrome looks phat. I know it’s each to his own but why is it that if it’s not standard looking it’s not cool? kinda defeats the purpose of moding a car in my idea.

in my opinion, i don't think the colour white, suits chrome.
more likely white, or a dark colour like black, dark greyish/silver type of colour.

hey all, sorry to say but its far from stock, not 'just wheels and lower' i've spent alot of time and money on this car, i've done the exhaust, intake system, colour coding, clear side markers, custom mesh insert, adjustable suspention, full alpine stereo worth over $3000, i've got clear lights coming and full strut and sway bar set coming as well. so if you call that standard i think u have a prob. but anyway thanks heaps to all those who made good comments about makes it all worth it. yeah it was takin off a fone, so you don't need glasses hahaha.. and whats so bad about abouts chrome, i went for chrome because i wanted to stand out as i don't plan to get a big kit or anythin like that.. and i'm with chi, there are a great wheel apart from the fact that everyone has them. and that thigie on my fuel filler is a graphic of the honda symbol. here are a few more pics, takin off a better fone (some are a bit dodgy cause it still had the plastic cover over the lens). the colour codong cost me $500 but i got it bit cheaper. now thats not bad for a first year apprentice earnin f**k all and spendin most of it on grog and women...

ABZY, after seeing some white cars on the road today, or moreso yesterday with chrome wheels,(also after seeing the 2nd set of pics) i'll blame it on the poor quality pics in the beginning. Looks fine. Personally i'd probably still put chrome wheels on a darker tone coloured car.
i personally see nothing wrong with chrome wheels or USDM bling stylez. Much the same i don't see nothing wrong with forced induction Honda's. But i don't prefer it.
Your car seems to be like a cruiser style sedan.
To top it off (for me), i'd get some clear tail lights, mirror tint, would have left the door handles black, get some black plates & a supercharger.
(i believe some would NOT agree with me :D )
It all comes down to personal taste.

um, yes it is a back yard job, to save money and i'm not finshed, its hard to do things D.I.Y when you work 6 days a week. and if you asked what else i had you would realise that it is worth over $3k, i've got a 2nd from the top of the range clarion head unit, 6.5 inch type s splits, 2x type S 12's, two big v12 amps and the bset wiring i could get down here. its just pissed me off when sum1 like me comes on here show off his ride and just because its more bling than most ppl here its not nice. i thought i've done a good effort considering i get $230 a week. and sorry to say if you don't like my car than don't comment or if you don't go baggin out chromies and sayin all this shit anout bling is shit. my mate on here H22a acorrd has bling and i'm more than sure he could out run most cars down here, considering his just did 0-100 in about 6 seconds.. sorry to get fired up but it just seems ppl here love to dis others for tryin. :thumbdwn:

Mate for a first year apprentice to come out with a ride like that it is good. I know how hard it is trying to mod a car on that wage and with those mods u have there i really respect u. I am also a minority on this forum about it isn't good unless it is jdm. Alot of people like myself can't afford jdm so they have to do with what they can afford. It is funny though coz 3 years ago the whole thing was about the "BLING" and i can gurantee that half the people saying that it isn't good unless it is jdm would have had bling on their cars and are only with the jdm croud because everybody else seems to be. Like it has been said each to their own and it is hard to have that thought when u have 30 guys telling u it isn't good because he has chrome rims. I like the car and i think it is a job well done and i know it is not finished yet.

its on its way... I see it this way, you've got 2 choices... Dump it more and give it a lip kit OR, get a wideish kit... I'm not talking Gembel wide, but something fairly wide, but still tidy... dont want to much shit going on, otherwise you get lost in it and it looks gay... you want it to flow.

while your onto the chrome... get chrome mirrors.

yeah, i really wanna slam it to the rims make it look fat a f**k. i wanna try and stay away from kit, had one on my GTi, to much hassle tryin to kit it fittin rite, (i like things perfect). i'm gunna get the chrome m3 mirrors but i gotta other shit to get first.. i respect people opinions bout all the JDM shit but its not me. and no its far from finished, wouldn't mind goin for a bigger engine interior, but for now i'm quite happy with it.. as i keep sayin thanks for all the good comments....

If your spending all the money to satisfy you and your taste why get so upset when other people give their opinion. If you did everything to your car just to impress other people, especially peeps you don't even know then why are you spending the cash? Why don't you give them all the money and ask them to mod it for you......

IMO ur car looks quite nice in chrome, but i guess everyones got their own taste.
i reckon u'v done a good job so far, rims dont look bad at all, everyones got there own taste, ive been through 3 sets of rims in the past year.............
i think you should lower it more though, dont need a kit...
Very sweet looking clean EK there dude. IMO a set of Lowenhart chrome or polished style rims would look alot better on it. :)

He asked for my opinion so... I gave it. I merely suggest he changes his rims - I hate chrome, that's just me. But each to their own. So don't give me sh!t. And that sticker/decal, well i think its pointless but he seems to like it.
