Anyone know what's the Jazz OEM Spring rate are? Thx!
maybe look in your car manual probably have it in there.
2.55 front / 5.2 rear -kg/mm
thx, sttich~ so if i want to get low down springs with close rate to the OEM ones, the tein S-tech would be the best to go? any other suggestions?
Yeah go for Tein S-tech i am going to put it in my Jazz as well... as soon as i get the $$$ for it :(
where are you guys getting the s-tech's from. can you pm details, also interested
I know someone can direct get it from Japan to Melbourne, price around $360.00 with express shipping (5 days). can be cheaper if we order togther
I might also be interested
Can these be run on the stock shocks?
mars_panas, i think ur car is low enough ar n looks great~ why going do get another set?? and i just talk with my friends, he can also get H-Tech for only $10.00 more on top of the S-Tech...
hahaha well if you know what i am lowered on you will know la...
but yeah whats the height difference with Tein H-tech and Tein S-tech?
which one is lower and which one has better ride??... i don't want my ride to be to bouncy because side skirts will scrap all the time...
well, from Tein official website, S and H both got same spring rate, but S-Tech can drop car 45mm front and 50mm back...H-Tech only drop 35mm front, 30mm back.

by the way thanks for the comment
Yeah mines already modified from my cousin when he owned it....
just a couple of things i need to do... just the sound system installed which will be this coming Saturday.... and end of the month Tein S-Tech springs because my springs are cut at at moment just want to be safe

told u wasnt me who did it... well back when my cousin was modifying there were no lowering springs for the Jazz so he cut them... now you know why i need new springs so i am going to go for Tein S because it will sit nearly the same height as my current setup
I see. GOOD LUCK!
thanks
yeah few in melbourne only seen stiich ages ago and one other jazz black with gold rims with spoon spoiler either than that i don't see them around often... if you guys want to see mine go around the western suburbs haha
black on black polish lips SSR prof with ings kit. i want to see that car. hehe
who has that?
ask your cousin, he knows, the owner is a low profile person i presume. nice ride though.
betcha his indo... hrmms we need to get the Jazz forum on OH up and running again...
slightly off topic, but would you guys be interested in going a jazz cruise some day in future? if theres enough interest, will definately attempt to organise one
yeah wouldnt mind la...
organise it on ausjazz forum....
anyways back to the orginal topic...
Can't wait to get my Tein S-Tech hopefully it doesn't sit as low as mine i want it abit higher
Hey Ray give me a link to his car....
RIDO: i dun have any pictures of his car..
Dreams: yeah he stays pretty low profile...but his car is damn nice especially with those wheels...
mines nicer lol... jk
This thread is becoming chat forum for melb jazz owners : )
LOL... yeah... ok we are now way off topic....
slightly back on topic now. since i've got 16" rims now, is it expected that my ride quality be slightly stiffer? i'm running full dead stock car suspension wise, and after i got the rims i seem to notice the bumps much more? is this normal? as the oem suspension is very soft
Yes, because the tyre profile is thinner compare to stock, hence why you get stiffer ride.
I am going for Tein H-Tech now guys... i want my car to be sitting on legal height for now... don't want to get another defect plus my side skirts makes my car lower... going to invest on coils in the future :p
