how do i make it go faster again?
bigger rim will affect ur speed for sure, but not much different imo.
go get sum performance mods
change final drive
Get lighter rims. :)
How heavy are the rims anyway? Enkei's are normally pretty light.
comptech supercharger will make it fast again =) or jtuned!!
any pics?
What tyre size are you using?
If you use a considerably low profile tyre, the overall diameter wouldn't be much different from the stock 16" or 17" diameter (the difference between OEM 16" and 17" is only about 0.36%).
Perhaps ur engine needs a good service, new oil and a clean air filter can make a huge difference
put a type R sticker....20bhp :p
paint it red
What is your new tyre size? How heavy is the new 18" rim+tyre combo?
Haha,
Another sucker who believes the final Jtune products for the euro exists.
I can tell you they do not exist, as I would have them after paying just under $4,500 for them November 2007.
I have now been running the prototype, along with it's many faults, ( so that James could have a demo car in Brisbane) for almost 5 months now.
Was supposed to have been replaced early January (after 5-6 weeks)then...............March.................sti ll friggin nothin!
Hmm........I can feel a lawsuit coming on......
Jtune extreme for the euro does not exist.....apparently..
supercharge it
and the rear seats... <---- but too bad that's illegal
which enkei did you get? how many kgs per wheel?
my opinion - i thought enkei's were medium weight range so not the lightest of all wheels but not as heavy as chromies either.
Should have spent the extra dough on lightweight forged racer wheels.
go for some weight reduction.... start off with teh driver lol
How abt some thinner tyres to reduce the overall diameter of the wheels? would it help:p?
HAHAHAHA
sorry guys. dont have pictures yet. cant be bothered at the moment.
another question, why the hell is a camber kit needed when lowering your car?
do you have to get a camber kit if you lower?
ive ordered buddy club coilovers. comign at end of the month
http://www.ozhonda.com/forum/showthread.php?t=88289
its on the front page as well... many info there.
but to answer ur question, its needed coz when u lower ur car u will get a negative camber, the more u lower the more negative it gets. this negative camber will increase tyre wear rapidly.
no u don't have to get a camber kit when lowering. but gg tyres depending how low u go.
camber kits help reduce tyre wear as stated above and its highly recommended. Again the euro is already a heavy car so do not expect it to be a performance machine, unless you have a standard model which has less luxury features hence less weight.
if you are after a faster car you should have thought about it, the euro is great for cruising not racing unless you decided to modify the engine and the rest.
hahah yeeh but your car is like 0.0000000000000000000000000000000000000001mm off the ground.
im only planing to drop my car maybe 1-2 inches bro.
should have invested on camber kit as $300 compared to a new set of tyres.Quote:
TRUST ME.. u'll want to get a camber kit... in fact.. its a MUST~!.. i should know.. i have to change my tyres every 3-4months because i dont have any camber kit.
any luck on selling the car Rein?
so we gonna see some pics or what? what was the point of making a thread just to tell us, i had a sandwich for lunch but i didn't make a thread about it, and if i did i'd be sure to chuck in some pics haha :P
sorry guys. pics will come soon
okay now im getting worried haha
im lowering my car maybe 35-40mm and the back on coilovers.
if i dont get a camber kit, is that going to effect my ride and tyre wear?
lol prob cause of the leather seats... all the excess weight..... i think if i can recall the lux = 70kg heavier something like that...
