WOW! never heard of that. The Euro is a heavier car but...
i replaced mine due to it being snapped from the stock rear swaybar.
i used MOOGS endlinks from www.rockauto.com.
RIGHT rear endlink- K90342
LEFT rear endlink- K90343
double check that these are the right ones for accord euro/tsx as i am tired.
hope this helps, only cost about $80+/-
how did you snap it? with aftermarket rear swaybar?
Yep, I have Whiteline's RSB installed. Thanks for your help.
yeh no worries.

The pictures of the Spicer parts don't look any heavier duty than the OEM endlinks. Crapdaz, were the MOOG endlinks any different to the OEMs? They have no pictures of these on their catalogue.
For my 2006 Euro, only the Spicer parts are called up which further complicates the issue.
Thanks.
2004 and 2006 uses the same endlinks. So you can use MOOG.
i can go take a photo for you but you would have to wait til tomorrow night for me to post.(as i am a bit buggered atm)Quote:

the moogs one, compared to OEM one? you'll laugh when you see it.
you'll think how the hell can the oem one hold the bar... didnt measure it but from comparison the moogs is about 2-3x thicker.
WARNING: Installing it manually will be a pain as i was sprawled on the ground with two hand spanners tightening with lack of space. If you know a mate jack up and use rattling gun while holding a spanner to tighten. Otherwise call me a noob.
How can this happen? I have whiteline also, now im worried!
No need for the photos thanks Crapdaz. I've ordered the Moog endlinks.
Thanks for your help - I have a trolley jack etc so replacing the endlinks will be simple.
i dont know hwo it happened i was surprised too.
i checked the endlinks first then found it leftside was snapped (with stock bar).
Called HA to see how much from spareparts they quoted me $110/side not incl installing.
but i thought its not worth it aftermarket all the way and its cheaper for something stronger.
Too much cornering and putting the links understress i reckon eventually you'll find rust building up on the shaft and snaps the bottom joint off. Thats how i found mine, with rust around the snapped section.
CORRECT ME IF I AM WRONG.
Hard cornering can twist the endlinks causing them to snap I suppose. The stiffer the rear sway bar, the faster one tends to corner thereby increasing the torque applied to the rear sway bar and the endlinks. The endlinks attach each end of this bar to the hub and the OEM endlinks aren't strong enough.
Snap! Don't worry though, if this happens you'll hear it. Thereafter your car will tend to oversteer and not corner as well.
lol i didnt hear mine crack.
Ooooh I did. I thought I had collected some wire beneath the car and was dragging it briefly. I was relieved to find the endlink snapped so that I had some explanation for the sound.
How long did you have to wait for you endlinks to arrive Crapdaz? Are you able to remember? I suppose it depends on what you paid for shipping though.
hmmm 1 week or so. they use EMS but unless otherwise you can ask for a cheaper method i think.
But the price you pay for it is pretty ideal for 2 links compared to HA $220 for both sides.
Were you using stock or aftermarket suspension with the whiteline?
Crapdaz thanks. I've also paid EMS so hopefully I'll have them by the end of next week. I'll just drive sedately until then.
$110 each for Honda endlinks! Are they mad?!
Aaron, apart from the RSB, the only changes I've made to the suspension are Koni dampers. All other parts are stock.
Wow, you must have been doing some pretty hard cornering or track then... If you bought the dampers, why not some stiffer springs to help? Many reports in the US TSX forums also report the endlinks breaking when using a 22mm RSB with stock suspension. First time I'm hearing of endlinks breaking with the 18mm whiteline bar though.
I was quoted $150 ish for endlinds from honda.'Hondar' (JDM Concept) on here sells em' for $69 delivered, takes 3 weeks.Go figure...
and first time you heard that the endlinks snapped from stock bar too.Quote:

not worth replacing with stock endlinks imho.Quote:

yeah forsure,I was just mentioning it
$150/link is like robbing us.Quote:

Yeah ya can't justify that but when did that ever matter when buying OEM from the dealer...
so the moral of the story is snap your endlinks during warranty so you can get new ones.
Hi everyone. I'm gonna revive this old topic as I have mysteriously snapped my right rear sway bar link during my latest service. Was fine pre-service and now the tech report that it has snapped. No clunking sound pre-service and post-service is clunking whenever I do a 15-20km/h turn.
They want to charge me $470 to replace only one side endlinks. The car is out of waranty so I am looking for help and advice to where I can get it replaced at a cheaper price than Honda. The car is 100% stock and done 47K and 4 year old. I am in Melbourne.
Thanks heaps in advance.
