Hey guys,
Ive saved enuff money to buy some decent coilovers, but its hard to choose the coilovers due to the fact i have about 0 clue on coilovers.
I dont track as car is just for daily.
Anyone can help me out? please do if you do help me out can you also pm me with a place or a trader where i can buy some.

If it's just for street I wouldn't get them too hard, for my teg I was looking at jic
FLT-FAS's, buddy club N+ spec's or tein super street's.
I ended up going for the tein's, ordered some japs ones last week, but that's me.
It really depends on how much you want to spend and how hard you want you suspension .
i dont really spend 2k+ like around 1k-15K range where did u get urs from greek. can u pm me the place please thnx

i would recommend buddyclub n+, as you can set it as soft as stock, or get it stiff if you'd like..
i've heard that tein ss are good for street, but a bit too soft for people's liking..

yep, tein SS is really just for lowering your car imo, it is a stiffer then stock obviously, but if you have any tracking in mind, or even mountain driving I think they will disappoint you, I got a set on my car atm, and I cant wait to upgrade to buddyclud N spec or Race spec
can't you just change the springs and get the shocks re-valved if they're too soft?
also just remember super stiff suspension doesn't equal good handling, quite often it's your tyres that ain't up to scratch.

They do fit eks mate, i think jdmyard sells them. Have a look there
having too stiff of suspension on street/mountain driving may even cause less handling/grip cos of bumps, if ur on track it doesnt have many or any bumps at all and the track suspension will be good but on street cos they so stiff, if u hit a bump ull lose traction (no shock travel i think thats wat they call it ?)
^^^ yeah pretty much, couple that together with the fact that aussie roads are shit compared to japan roads, then it should be easy to understand why alot of jap coilovers are too hard for street use here
Don't be a softy go for some Tein Monoflex
I wouldn't get n+, they are stiff as and yet give you too much body roll...
my mate wanted to get one and I warned him about it but he didn't listen and now he full regrets it...
so whats a good coilovers for street as daily only?

Most ppl I've met who have coilovers always end up wanting more control, it makes the daily commute more fun. Generally more control requires higher spring rates and stiff dampers along with other sussy parts.
I have a friend who owns an Ek and has buddy club n+ he is quite happy with them and is thinking of upgrading to racing spec. Racing spec is alot firmer though.
If you got to choose between ss and monoflex definitely the monoflex dont waste your time with ss.

MikeyG, alot of the people who are posting here have rockl hard coilovers and anything less is soft.
I have used Tein SS, sure they are soft when required and moderately stiff if dialed up, but for STREET use, and to retain comfort, to me, these were a great street/sport system.
Remember why you are buying these and whom they are for - for you and ur comfort oriented bum hehhee
However, I haven't sat in BC N+ before, so my comparison above was to stock.

i've ridden on cars with n+ and flex. imho i'd get the tein because it's japan. bc is taiwan and it just came out of the blue.. tein has been there for a long time. plus the pricing is almost the same.. so which one would u choose?

well my instructions is in japanese, the website it has on them is japanese .. and when i install ill look at coilovers itself to find "made in" sign ive got N+ .. to confirm for ppl
I have seen damping curves for the Buddy Club Racing Spec dampers and they look damn good. No experience with the N+ though...
Also, with the Tein Monoflex vs Flex vs Super Street, I would pick the Monoflex every time. The Monoflex is a monotube damper which means they are less susceptible to cavitation and emulsification, they have a higher heat capacity, and they conduct heat to the atmosphere better, so they take longer to fade. They also run a larger piston so damping is more subtle to small movements. The monoflex also use a bleed adjuster instead of a preload adjuster like the Flex and Super Streets, so it mostly works for the low speed (read useful) range of shock movements.
They are a far superior shock, but whether or not you can utilise this or not is another question.

ill post pics of the ride height of my car aswell on the mono flex can go prettyy low without affecting the springs you dont get that low car bounce like you do with other coils/springs
