i'd say performance will be very similar.
fuji will cost u anyway around 1k where mugen will double that.
u'd better off with fuji for sure.
lol from what i heard from that meet the dde with the mugen exhaust.. quiet as!
yeah his name is also Peter. lol
mugen exhaust is pretty much like stock honestly, its so quiet but once you hit over 4000rpm it gets heaps loud. but the gains for the performance is one of the best if not the best exhaust ( besides from the straight through 3" pipe )
he also has intake and headers and its THAT quiet.
$2400 landed in Aus for Mugen and about $1.1k landed for the fuji ( correct me if im wrong alex )
got any dyno results with mugen exhaust?
cause 3" i reckon would be too big for N/A and would end up losing power rather than gain.
ideal would prob be 2.25 -2.5"
any one know who i can get the legalis r through? i just had a look on jdm yard and they got it priced at $1650...
"CL7 Accord Euro Legalis R ( twin muffler ) $1400 incl gst SOLD OUT!"
from jdmyard
i tried to get the legalis R. but it sold very fast.
it is hard to find the second hand, and the jdm yard is too much to spend.
is it possible to get just the legalis R muffler? or whats another good quality, quiet muffler out there?
i got 5zigen pro racer Aspec and they are pretty quiet.
JASMA approved.
but because they are 5zigen. single outlet--> $1100-1200; dual outlet --> $1850 or so.
just a quick question what do you guys think about the greddy evo 2 exhaust for the euro??? how does it compare to the fuji,5zigen,buddyclub and mugen ones.
From the research i've done the Euro cat backs make little to no hp gains, all they seem to do is change the exhaust sound.Better spending money on hi flow cat and/or headers.
true - best exhaust ive seen only got 2-3kw atw...
majority of them youll see maybe 1-2kw gain...
no point getting a aftermarket exhaust for performance without first getting headers and high flow cat.
thats where all your gains will be!
but - if your just after a nice sound, then sure, go for exhaust :) thats why i got mine! lol and hopefully grab an extra 2kws lol
Get yourselves a custom 2.5 stainless and with the money left over put it towards a set of headers! All up you cost about the same $ as a branded catback!
Here you are! Euro R headers! clean it up, port the inner welds and a coat of hi temp paint, hi flow cat, custom exhaust < 1.5K easy.

this one is too far away, but its cheap, i think.
so, header is more important than exhaust. which header is good to use? there is one on ebay, its cost $1225. too much......
how about:Injen Accord Euro CAI + JDM Accord Euro R K-Series Intake Manifold + Fujitsubo Accord Euro Leaglis R Catback Exhaust/5zigen Pro Racer A Spec exhaust? and plus which header?
Changing the header yourself is possible,
Pain in the arse to work on though,
Not very expensive to have it installed anyway, personally its not worth the hassle of doing yourself
then, i better find someone do the job for me.
but first, im gonna find a header.
a few volumes ago, autosalon magazine did a write up on the legalis R, from the seat of the pants they felt no gains.
forgot wat volume, but they sorta doing one up. they've put coilovers, and now cat back on the same euro.
but the legalis r does sound nicest of them all
