thanks mate, is this for the 4th gen ??
the stock rims on 4th gen , are a + 50 offset i believe
ohh okay, thanks mate
nah stock offset is +55
okay thanks . ive been lookin for some new rims for my prelude, but its so hard to find ones that'll fit n look good . does anyone know of any places where id have more luck ?
imo, 17 inch looks best for 4th gen.
get a 17 by 7, with around a +42 to +47 offset. +42 will sit more flush, shouldnt have any probs with scrubbing either.
Agreed again Tim lol! You could also get +40 offset. Had that on my last set with no scrubbing, but I've heard of others that have had scrub with +40. +42 is probably the best though.
Depends what kind of style you want. There are heaps out there and heaps of places/people to buy from too.
haha maybe im just not looking hard enough, would u recommend me any places or people to go to ?
check the traders section mate.
Plenty of info here: http://www.preludeonline.com/f84/rec...ffsets-107797/
The Mugen wheels designed specifically for Preludes were I believe 17Jx7 +50 offset.
oh really ? where abouts would i find them ??
You'd be hard pressed to find Mugen rims, especially for the Prelude and when you do, they'll be expensive as hell! Trust me, I know...
Go down to your local wheel/tyre shop and talk to them. You may find a design you like. Otherwise it's all online like ebay, trademe or a shop from America and import them. There are soooo many places to find rims and there would be a lot in your local area.
yeah ive been to a couple already, and, its sucks coz a couple of them didnt have rims for the prelude witht he right size . and the other ones that did, were so incredibly ugly so i thought id try my luck here haha
but thanks alot for ur help .

perfect fit and nicest rims ever.. also can deliver to Melbourne too, in the metro area.
hey wad do you guys think of 15x6.5" rims with a 46 offset..
would it sit too inside and look odd ?
Opposite. Should stick out more, not less. Would allow for bigger brakes though.

I would suggest going with 17x7.
hahah yeah, gotta agree with u there . i was thinkin about black buddyclub p1s but then .. i dont know, i dont think theyd suit the prelude too much
