It used to be my daily driver, but I recently got a company car, so I use the car on weekends.

Why are the ADVAN AD08/AD08R tyres your preferred choice of all in one street/track tyres?
AD08Rs have been the best compromise daily/track use tyre I have used so far. To have a tyre that is so consistent lap after lap on the track and still be able to be comfortably used on the street is so awesome.
Any additional comments on your tyres?
I generally get around 10 Trackdays out of my tyres.

Why are the ADVAN AD08/AD08R tyres your preferred choice of all in one street/track tyres?
Given my limited (read zero) space for carting track tyres, the AD08 has proven to be the perfect solution as I have been able to run in top 3 in most events and only a couple of seconds off fastest lotus competitors at most events who were running dedicated race rubber and track tuned suspension.
This has been a learning year as I have stepped up a category in a new car and the AD08 was the perfect companion for learning the car at a low cost in prep for running Yokohama A050 "R-compounds" in 2014.
The first few laps on the AD08 are simply great, and you can attack after only half a lap so to get basic temps up. Sure they eventually lose a bit of bite over a long run, and start to squirm after 8 laps or so when tonnes of heat gets into them, but they never get scary like a normal street tyre. This limit would never be found on the road no matter how hard you punish them.
In damp conditions, the softer compound racing tyres still have at edge, but in standing water at the circuit the AD08 is stellar and provides great confidence, particularly under braking.
