yes the 2nd hole is your MAX limit, your oil should be safely just under the second hole, your currently sitting over. happend to me last time, had to drain some of the oil and plug it up.
Heaps over the top hole is not good, you should really drain some of it out so that the oil level is almost at the top hole when cold.
what are the outcomes of driving with oil level over the second hole? how long can i leave it for?
dont risk it, could overflow and damage other parts of your car.
foul all sorts of parts and perhaps blow your engine. Drain some oil asap.
Make sure you engine is cold and the car is on a flat surface when checking the dipstick.
If its only a bit above the max line then the engine will just burn it off but its bad if theres way too much
When cold, how far is it over Max? 1cm? 0.5cm?
Depends on the engine, but up to 1cm over max is still ok.
its about 1.5cm over its that alright? as from the bottom of the dip stick to the MAX is 2cm
o h i see, thats not too bad is it hey? its a 4L b18c7 so yer
should it be alright? or should i drain some? n do i just drain it by normal means, like taking the nut n washer off? cause im afraid it will be hard to put the nut n waster back up if its oil is still pouring out, and i might drain too much
