Seeking your advise on a possible project.
Engine: 1991 b16a
Car: 1996 Ek GLi
Just wanted some background knowledge on the swap that anybody may have or advise.
Any problems I may run into and what I may need to make it happen.
I'm very excited and need some guidance with this. A bit confused since the obd and years are different not sure on how to approach this.
What ECU ?
You can reuse most of the eks wiring and sensors with alittle clever thought. Eg. the IAT is located on the intake arm where the eg has it on the intake manifold etc.
You will need to add wires for the vtec solenoid to start
the engine package is jap spec using jdm ecu.
Would you know anyone with knowledge or experience in this field... really keen to put this engine in.
