Weird radio/dash lights

I may be going insane. Also hello :)

Something's awry with my MY04 Accord v6 luxury - the radio backlight stays on full brightness all the time (headlights on or off, dash lights tuned to full or minimum). Pictured below. I swear it used to dim when I dimmed the dash lights using the little knob in the speedo...

It's fine in the day, but really annoying at night. Also the centre console LED's are off, although now I think about it, I'm not sure it ever had any? Do the 04 Accord lux'es have dash LED's? I think it had LEDs...

I'll have the radio out and console faceplates off in a few days when I put in the AUX-to-CD-changer plug I got off fleabay. Anything I should look for while I'm at it? Corrosion etc.? Worth checking inline fuses or fuse box?

Can't find anything on here/google about the radio backlight stayin ON, plenty of off-situations though! Heeeeeeeelp!?
