subframe is part of the chasis, tie bar is installed by undoing the lca bolt and putting it on
so is it better to get an aftermarket subframe along with a tie bar? thanks heaps btw
usually an aftermarket subframe brace will act as a tie bar. So no need to get tie bar if you are getting ASR or f7 subframe brace. You get subframe braces when you upgrade to a thicker swaybar so that your subframe doesnt rip, it's not just to strengthen the chassis.
ahh i see.. so having one or the other is fine? im thinking of getting a tie bar + sway bar +lca.. but i wasnt sure if i need a subframe brace to go with it..
tie bar does **** all get, subframe brace like asr or whiteline,
no point running big swap bar without brace just gona tear the subfreame

hmm fair enough.. thanks for the advice man
So yeh basically:
If your getting 22 or 23mm sway bar then get asr or f7 subframe brace.
if your keeping stock or something like 16mm and if you feel like it then get tie bar. PM me I might have spoon one if you want.
Plus tie bar significantly lowers clearance under the car, so if u have a lowered car then u might be scraping on speed bumps. I just got the asr and dc2r rsb. Ideal solution rather than tie bar
rear hardly ever will scrape.. the front tie bar will most probably.
cheers guys.. like yellows2k said, i might go for the asr plus rsb.. does anyone know how many mm the dc2r rsb is?
