engine problem enquiry

Hi everyone.

MY auto eg8 completely died on me the other day, the mechanics said that the timing belt had jumped and it had completely owned my pistons and valves and they were saying that the cost of fixing it would be in the thousands.

BUT i was looking over engines for sale, and i was wondering if it was possible to put a d15b7 engine. would my auto gear box be direct bolt on to an engine (http://www.ozhonda.com/forum/showthread.php?t=106883) into my one, would i be able to use my existing gear box, what other kind of things would i need to get to get it working in my car.
