Toyo Trampio Gu:wn [TPG] - A high-performance tyre by Toyo. Purchased @$155 each, in size 195/50/15 "V" speed rated.
At a track day, it was cold, with wet to damp track surface. Found it semi-difficult to find the limit. Most likely a result of my first 'rain' track day. Track dried later in the afternoon. Dry grip is good if not very good, and also predictable. With warmer track temperatures, their stickiness lasts less....
On public roads.....they're a treat (wet or dry) & tyre noise is very quiet.
Yokohama AVS V102
205/55 R16
$221 each
They felt great when I first took them out for a drive. Grip so much better than stock, but still had heaps of roll. The tread is very aggressive and grips just as well in the rain. I can actually "feel" the differences in the forces when going around a corner. Can go faster and smoother. It doesn't squeal, but it scrapes. It helps alot in braking too. I'm very amazed!
8/10
Michelin Pilot Sport 205 x 45 17
$200 a piece ( i got them on special )
Exelent tire in all conditions.
Just smells funny when you drive hard.
Falken- 205/30/17 - Not sure bout the price, but i find em a bit noisey and pretty crap in the wet.
Nankang- Got em with the car and there pretty cheap and reasonably good in the wet. Good value for $$$
Dunlop DZ101

Bridgestone Potenza SO2's pole position 205/55/15
I have gone through the Bridgestone range (except for SO3's cos i have never owned a 16" rim) and these are obviously by far the best tyre in their range.
I paid $160 per corner from Box Hill Donnellan's but my wknd contact there has since left :(
not noisy.. but soft... i don;t expect to get much more than 20K km out of them
