VSA and LSD are different. You can install an LSD and still have VSA.
No benefit... The only benefit would be if you lived in Melbourne, where you have to do u-turns into traffic in a 80km/h zone. LOL
Yeah, it was a big help at WP. Lets you correct errors if you oversped slightly into corners by just powering out.
It's actually worse than the stock open diff if you encounter wet roundabouts. As for dry roundabouts, I can't drive fast enough to notice a difference.
The LSD only works when you are using throttle as the mechanical LSD is like a 1-way.
Thanks aaron, i am tempted to get one for WP but i can't justify myself in paying more money for mods on my car.
hmmmm i think i wasted enough. :p
If you have a 6MT, the OEM helical LSD will be beneficial for handling and it's 1.5 way.
The CL7 Euro R and DC5 Integra R uses the same LSD, straight fit into the CL9 transmission.
You need a lot more than LSD to improve your PB at any track for that matter.
After watching videos of Aaron at wakefield with the LSD you can see on the fishhook he gains probably easily 0.75 of a second just from the ability to put power down while still holding a tight line. It's VERY beneficial to have one, especially for the heavier, torquey Euro :)
