Buying a welder - question

Has anyone here bought one of the newer budget welders like Rossi brand or similar, used it for general duties, and not had a problem? Would you recommend what you got to others?


Back story:
Looking for a MIG welder for medium to light work. Have been looking at the newer generation inverter welders on Ebay, and reading reviews. There certainly are bad reviews, but they do sell a lot of these machines. Online reviews have a negative bias as people are more inclined to tell others about their bad experiences than good experiences.

Would love to own something that can do MIG, Gasless, DC Arc, and TIG in one machine for under $500, but not if it falls in a heap the moment the warranty expires.

Also looking at a plasma cutter.
