Gen 6 Accord Type R - was there an AU equivalent?

Hi folks,

Reading through threads I am having some trouble determining whether the Gen 6 Accord Type R sold in Europe / UK actually had an equivalent sold in the Australian market.

And if it was, where there spec differences? E.G. the European model had Recaro seats and upgraded brakes.

You're talking about the Accord Type R and/or the Accord CL1 Euro R.

Those are based the EU/JDM chassis. Which we didn't get, we got the US chassis instead pretty different setup.
