Works on the P2T EK4 ecu
what about on the jap spec ecu ? also this is probably the wrong thread but to my understanding the export b18c is the b18c7 but the jap spec version is just the b18c ? can anyone confirm this cheers
Does anyone know which chip to break off on an obd2b ecu?
Great info, i tried it on a p72 from a integra, it works as well
since pics aren't working
just need to confirm, J20 and RP23 are the square pads right? not the circular ones you see around it?
bumping an old thread
just wondering when you perform the immobiliser removal, does that mean you don't need the transponder in your key anymore? i.e. start the car from a blank key
or does it only stop your car from having fault codes when using an ecu from another car
it allows you to use that ecu in any car
however if you have a car with the IMMO-AO system, you remove the ECU immo, the chassis still has an Immo control module that looks for the transponder and then allows the stater motor to operate.
you would have to remove and bypass that module if you want to use non programed keys to start the car with such keys.
not a simple unplug job now is it ecu-man?
nope
..
hi guys. new here, but being that i found the info that i needed, i like this place :)
i just bought a p73_A04 ecu from someone on honda-tech, and only after realized that it had the immobilizer.
after looking at the ecu, it seems it is a different revision as there are no printing marks on the back side. the stamp on the top side is A3Y-B 001AC-L5002-00.
has anyone successfully removed the immob. from this board and can shed some light for me on which jumpers i need to modify? second question, if it is not possible to remove the immobilizer from this ecu without breaking it out, and the check engine light is on, can it still pass emissions?
thanks for any info yall can give.
