No...
It doesn't matter where the car is purchased, the restriction is based on your license not locality of car registration.
You can only drive turbo legally if you apply for an exemption.
I think the most likely next step is for them to make it power to weight based.
OR
you tell them your moving to WA and get WA P's then you can have a turbo charged car since over west we still have no restrictions.
No, its if you have an ACT licence you can drive a turbo car on your P's. But you will need to be a permanent resident of ACT. Yes you can go through the hassle to pretend you live in ACT, but why bother wasting all the money to "move" on paper to ACT.
Just go through your p plates like anyone else. And this is coming from another p plater.
Same with WA license.
If it was me, drive with no p plates on
Drive sensabily and fingers crossed!
Ever think about insurance? If you try to make any claim, they will reject you. You hit a mercedes? You're paying for it. You hit a traffic light or power/telephone pole? Youre paying for it. (mind you, those poles cost upwards of $20,000. Not even joking...)
Stay legal.
buy a k24 put it in a civic and then you r faster then most turbo cars
buy a cappucino
