68NM / 49lb/ft / 6.8kg-m
Make sure you torque them in the correct sequence and do a few passes before you get to 68NM to prevent the head from warping.
thanks buddy how you been
lol
it's been blowing smoke and yer i think the head gaskets gone i had it off the road about 7 months have a few things broken on it and this is that engine that i got from honbits never was that good
i talk later i got to go
Lame, good luck with it mate.
hey steven can you give us reputation :)
it is steven right
hey do you know the timing as well
i post some pics too
Yup, it's Steve.
Do you need to know about the ignition or cam timing? make sure the cam marks line up with the top of the head, with the arrow facing upward, also make sure the crank lines up with the mark on the block (you'll see it once you remove the pulley if you're replacing the front engine seal)
You can always hit me up on MSN , and what did you want me to rep?
i just don't want to be a newcomer cuz i know a bit lol so need rep i have gave advice on other post :p
this is where i am up too atm can't get the middle bolt off the intake manfold got to get a tool i talk on msn ok
got that middle bolt off the intake manfold but still can't get the head off and i got the cams off too do you know what this bolt is see pic
The only thing that attached the head to the block are the head studs. More than likely, the old head gasket is keeping them together. Be careful if you try and pry them apart that you don't mess up the mating surfaces, they dent real easy being alloy.
