Hi
I just realized that the civic cxi doesn't have any sway bars at all and wondering are they worth installing and great improvement? Would be a fairly straight forward bolt on as well if i do it myself?
cheers

Yes.

search mate.
depends what you want, fun for the roads or track car
ill try summarise it quickly, ek4/em1 rsb and fsb, nice shock/spring setup, good tyres for starters.
for more serious set up, coilovers, ek9/aftermarket rsb/fsb, adjustable coilovers, new bushings, better tyres, chassis support bars etc etc .
honestly list goes on.
Ill have a look around then
thanks alot

If you want to install a front sway bar on an EK you will need to get ( depending on the Sway bar ) EK4/EK9 front lower control arms if you are using EK9/EK4 FSB 24-26mm or EJ8/EK sedan/hatch - 22mm ( Not EK4/EK9 ) LCA to suit swaybars from them.
Having swaybars installed make a huge difference.. especially if the car doesn't have one at all
For the money.. great mod !
Thanks for the replies guys.
I think i found the set up i want. If im doing it might as well do it well.
I think i found my ek4/ek9 FSB and might buy it first and install it but do i need to drive more carefully because the understeer that the fsb will cause and i have no rsb to balance it?
You will be fine, unless you drive like an idiot around corners.
EK sedans have front sway bars only and no rear sway bars.
In short 3 sentences
Dollar for dollar sway bars are the best bang for buck suspension mod.
Coilovers are even better but cost alot more too.
Dont cheap out with dodgy ebay shit aswell or YOU WILL REGRET IT
