Other comments
Once dry ice has been used on a certain bits of sound deadening, put it back in its container so that it can be reused on other sections, this way u would only need about 3kgs :D
-
ill be doing this on the weekend.
questions:
1. how much did the dry ice cost you
2. does it come in a special container??
-
umm like $10 a kg i think.., nah it just comes in a foam container and u have to pre-order like 24-48 hrs.
good luck!

BOC stock dry ice, no need for pre-order waiting preiod. its about $8-10 a Kg and when you buy it bring a esky with you.
Not all BOC stores have dry ice so call before you go.
sound deadner usually weighs 10-15kg all up.

do it first thing in the morning when the cars cold,, will be easier removing it rather then coming home for a long drive and doing it i did mine with flat blade and hammer,,, no need for dry ice,, dont know your circumstances though otherwise very good write up for the newcomers to this scene
