Yep, you can take the lid off the std airbox and put a pod straight onto the intake pipe if you want. Makes a great intake sound at full revs

To open the fog cover you can cut off the back of the ribbed section with a sharp blade. If you cut it off flush it makes a neat job and it still looks original.
