Car is now sold! At the end if the day, it just wasnt getting driven enough (only every other weekend) and I decided that I'd be better off with a real weekend car, instead of a compromised daily...
I have a set of (used) genuine JDM Honda Access aluminium door sills/scuff plate set (to suit black interior) that I'm willing to sell for $150. Sydney based, but can post at your expense.
That's the first symptom of a very flat battery - the battery typically still supplies enough voltage to the dash cluster (so that all appears normal) until you actually start the car.
I have a set of 66240CBI on my CL9 - cost me near $200 back in the day. Love them - compared to stock it's whiter (but not ricer blue), and definitely brighter.
Another happy Road & Race Rydalmere customer here - Peter is a top bloke and very meticulous in what he does. Not cheap by any measure, but worth every penny.
Don't think that's a Euro R there mate - Euro R's had black window moldings and dark chrome door handles as per the "Sport" or "Limited" variants that we got in our CL9s. That white car has chrome...
CL7 Euro R was never listed on the SEVS register for import. A dealer would not have been able to "special order" one either - Honda Australia never...
Climate control knob layout appears to be for LHD, with driver on left and passenger on right. No mention of which navigation software is bundled either, which may affect availability of Australian...
Thanks for the link mate - I think I may have actually ordered a set of shift/handbrake boots from this mob for my previous car years ago, and was pretty happy with the results back then.
Pretty straight forward - on CL9, jack both sides up, and remove the cover that sits under the engine bay (undo clips and screws). Probably the best time to get a breaker bar to crack the drain bolt...
The suitable Parrot (or compatible) adaptor cable for non premium sound will work - I've got that paired with a Parrot CK3000 evo in my non-nav CL9 lux.
In that picture it shows rubbing marks against the HVAC pipe, but I think HuyT's problem is that it's rubbing on the spark plug cover. My cheapy eBay Cusco-style strut brace rubs on the HVAC pipe,...
Whilst I agree that the new stretched Jetta (although bigger than the previous Golf-with-a-boot) is still a fraction smaller than most others in the segment, the i40 would be pretty much the same...
You actually need to screw/rotate the piston back into the caliper on the rear brakes - there's a large cross machined into the piston for this purpose (I used a cube-style piston reset tool, others...
As a guide, I got mine done at Larke Hoskins Homebush in Sydney for $462, supply own oil. Original quote was $628 using their oil, including an auto...
Wow, been 3/4 of a year since I've posted anything in this thread. Have had the car for over a year now, and have put 18000km on it since I took delivery December 2010 (just hit 80000km last week). ...
That's a ridiculous price. I just had my 80k done at Larke Hoskins Honda Homebush (Sydney). Was originally quoted $628 for the service, but turns out that included auto transmission fluid replacement...
I'm willing to bet that Japanese production of Civics and Jazz will only be a short-term thing until they sort out the factory. After all, even if the FOB cost of sourcing...
