ive got some red ones, much better then painting then, and a better array of the light

they only sell the amber/yellow ones.. they also sell the coloured caps (like the blue ones on the original bulbs) in red.. maybe if you want red...

im only using some philips bulbs i picked up from autobarn, not led's
but now, instead of painting the bulbs ive got sign vinyl wrapped over them, easier then painting then and it gives a better...

i dont have the fade in between the lights, mines very close to the original picture i posted, just abit darker
the only problem i have is the trip is darker then everything else.. can still see it,...

i snapped that clip too, on the bottom of the unit.. it was after i did the diy when i went in to change my bulbs to leds

but, just be careful when taking of the black plastic gard, i got inpatient with mine and pulled it from one end, and snapped the corner vent from the back. but you can see it so...

maybe the dimmer, because leds are a lot brighter then the bulbs
so maybe the dimmers died on a low setting the thats whats stuffed you up. other than that i wouldn know what it would be

nah they were the wrong ones i picked up and didnt realize. and it was the only pic i took of them, so i just put it up

i think they are t5, but im not really sure.. because i just got a mate to pick me up a few from his shop, and they are the numbers he told me

you can buy red LEDs or whatever colour you want, they wont dim fast. dont use the old bulbs because they are to dull. but im guessing its going to be a fair few years before they start to dim

i just got my paint for a model shop in town. im sure most hobby shops would carry that paint
