Yeah the starter was shagged, also my engine earth wasnt that great so I re-did it. Starts perfectly now.
So my dc2r won't start.
I tried to start it and didnt notice it was in hear and it lurched forward, after that wouldn't start at all.
I push started it and it ran fine.
Turning the key and...
I had the same problem happen to mine, picked up a new pulley from Honda and fitted it myself.
You do have to take off an engine mount as a belt goes around it. It isn't too hard.

Its exactly the same problem as this guy. Wonder how he fixed it lol
A big blip on the throttle helps it get in. It slots in easily at around 6-7k rpm.
The clutch does sound funny when its engaged, but I think that its the thrust bearing making that noise.
Any...
My dc2r is having some issues with its gearbox. Shifting up through gears is silly smooth but I can't downshift into 2nd unless the car is stopped.
Reverse is also funny. It won't roll in gear...
I just double checked my MSC which is Honda OEM and it looks like the one you currently have fitted. Could the one you purchased be for LHD?
The bolts sheered off, so the tensioner is out, half the bolt is still in the bracket though lol
End of last summer my AC pretentioner pulley bolt sheered off, and is still in the AC compressor bracket.
This weekend I'm hoping to pull out the AC compressor bracket, I was wondering if anyone...

It just doesn't have the same look without the red H badges on them :( Thought about it for a bit.
Garry Warren Smith in Oakleigh where I normally get my OEM parts from want $124 for the front and $165 for the rear, and they would have to get them ordered in.
Some prick decided to lift both my front and rear badges from my DC2R tonight at Shoppingtown and leave a nice scratch while doing it.
As I only want to replace with OEM, no knockoffs, does anyone...
Here are some more photo's I got on the weekend. Just got a friend to go nuts with his DSLR at work.
And no I don't work at the gymnastic store...
$115 for the master cyl delivered from Garry and Warren Smith Honda and I installed it myself. It's pretty easy to do, except bleeding the clutch hydrolics by yourself is NOT fun.
Just to let you know, it was the master cylinder. I replaced it last week and it's all fine :D
I'll put some up after lunch.
Not sure, I found it on Carsales.
Had been looking for one for around 4 months before I found this. So hard to find a clean one these days.
Oh Yeah, and DC5R wheels. I never really used to like them, but I think they look muuuch better on a DC2 than a DC5.
Yeah, I've missed driving it this week. Been driving an 04 Camry, its what I imagine to be like driving a boat.
Yup still got the Yellow Recaros.
Hi there!
So yeah, long time reader. Just got myself a 2001 AUDM Integra DC2R. Current mods are Fujita CAI, Fujitsubo Power Getter Catback and Mugen headers.
Looking at getting some new...
Yeah, there is black gunk on the cylinder connected to the pedal. So looks like I'm up for a new master cyl. Any idea where to get one round Melbourne?
Yeah I'm thinking it might be the master/slave cylinder. I've never had to replace one before, but I imagine it wouldn't be too hard. I'm not too familiar with the ITR engine bay, anyone who has...
