If it's a track only car, why are you leaning towards a 16x8 setup?
Tyre choice is limited in a 225/45R16. It's best to either move up to a 17, or get 15x8 as there's a few more tyres to choose from.
You should be using CVT fluid, not ATF.
If you want an off the shelf kit, Fujitsubo make an exhaust for the EG2 - http://www.musecret.com.au/prod131.htm
Get a set of decent headers, and get an exhaust shop to fab up a hi flow cat to suit.
US/non-US doesn't matter, the floor pan is still the same.
You'll just be using their "driver side" as your passenger side, and their "passenger side" as your driver side.
Not exactly.
3 out of the 4 bolts will line up.
What were you tyre pressures like on the day?
No, you need to contact the RTA to claim a refund on your NSW plates, and buy new rego for the VIC plates
AFAIK the recent batch has been recalled.
Not sure on when they're coming back in stock.
I purchased seals from the US (OEM Honda) and they didn't have any sticky sides. Both sides were the same, I just had to flip them inside out.
So far it's worked?
33503-st7-a01 is the part number, and you'll need to purchase 2.
simple job if you have screwdrivers and wrenches
There should be no issues with 6.5 +52 considering the stock 98 spec JDM wheel is 16x7 +50 and people run those rims on their AU DC2Rs all the time
The difference between +52 and +42 is that +42 will stick out 10mm more, provided that the wheels are the same width.
However, if you're comparing 16x7 +50 to 16x6.5 +42, you will find that from...
pretty sure the dampers have been valved accordingly, as they're available off the shelf from toda.
They will not fit unless you swap over rails.
One of the mounting points on the delsol rails will not line up.
Track the car as is, then see what you need to change later according to your driving style/preference.
Stolen from a mate's blog:

They'd be EK rails then. 3 out of the 4 holes line up.
If they're DC2 rails, then they would fit in an EG.
The SR3 recliner knobs face the centre console on the EK9/DC2R.
If it's facing out, it's on the wrong way.
However, if you're putting the seats in a EK1/4 or DC2/4, you'll have to face them the...
Adjust the nut on the clutch master cylinder for more pedal throw?
Do you feel that there's a large dead area before the clutch engages?
If you want a power increase, look at other alternatives other than a Spoon n1/Spoon bpipe.
If you want a noise increase, go for it.
The weakest link is the Spoon design. Both axleback and bpipe...
SR3 rails won't fit the CRX. I've tried myself.
You either need to get aftermarket CRX Del Sol rails, or fabricate some custom rails.
I would lean towards getting super low aftermarket rails,...
Sorry, IEVAQ8, you're incorrect.
Del Sol rails are not the same as EG/DC rails.
You need to purchase Del Sol rails for your car.
Dakdak, I believe the OP is referring to the actual recliner, and not the rail adjuster.
You won't have an issue with running a passenger side recaro on the driver side, other than having two...
That's correct.
The JDM DC2's had a shorter cat, so their catbacks were longer.
So you need to get a shorter cat to fit any JDM exhaust.
