We get these as standard on all our CU2's along with sunroofs :) Xenons and navigation are optional though. I guess it depends on how Honda wants to target each country - is the CU2 a cheaper...
I haven't seen any oil consumption on mine since new. I used Honda Gold SM 5w-40 previously, now on Honda 0w-20 ULEV oil, servicing every 8000 km. It's not a 200hp engine though, it runs a lower...
I hope not. Honda has a crazy lineup with different cars having the same names for the European, Asian and American markets, or the same car having different...
The Spirior's build quality is pretty good, mine doesn't rattle or have bits fall off. The older models run a K24Z3 fat-Accord engine with lower compression but...
It also doesn't upshift at the redline unlike some other paddle-shifters in the market. If you're not fast enough you can end up hitting the rev limiter :)
I love both cars (CU2 and IS 2009-onwards) because they have a modern yet totally Japanese look to them, like the sharp creases in a well-tailored suit combined with intricate origami. The radius...
Sent the car in for a service and filled 'er up with Honda Ultra LEO SN 0W-20, after previously using Honda Gold SM 5W-40. The engine revvs a lot smoother now and that metallic bark after VTEC kicks...
That gray TSX is one shiny car, congrats on keeping it looking so nice. Any tips on how to scrape splattered bugs off the front bumper after night trips? I've washed mine...
First my car gives me more power, then it grows a new brain and wants to take over its human owner :) I don't know if the ECU changed its throttle behaviour because I'm still seeing the same fuel...
This is weird. Previously I'd been doing mainly town driving so the engine hasn't been revved much into VTEC territory, especially as it's so easy to break the town speed limit in first gear at 6800...
Well in China we get a K24A5 which has 190hp I think, compared to the 200hp that the TSX has. The compression ratio is also lower to run on RON93 petrol.
What's your detailing process like? I think I saw some Meg's stuff in there like UQW and leather conditioner. My paint feels pretty rough... will need claying I think.
Looking at my unwashed gray CU2 with its leopard spots of mud and dust, then looking at these pix... damn that's a sweet TSX! :) Or a whole bunch of them, not to leave out that lovely RL. You've got...
A RWD Euro would be the ultimate Honda, I'd say. There's nothing like getting the back end to come out when you want to. Hopefully there's VSA to stop it from sliding when you don't want it to :)
Yeah man, plenty of old school turbo power from Toyota, Nissan, Mitsubishi, Subaru, Mazda... Then why did they stop using forced induction? If it's for emissions reasons, the Europeans somehow...
