Yeh maybe this wasnt toda's fault. Quite common for overboosting to throw a rod, probably hit about 14psi. Too much timing, too much force caused by the long R/S ratio.

Like i said, it isnt exactly pump fuel. Unless your a weekend warrior that doesnt venture 200kms (E85 runs at 9:1 stoich, double the fuel) from there home, then its not viable yet.

WIth high compression, all it takes is a bad batch of fuel for a new motor to be had.

On the street, if u want power on pump fuel, low compression is the way...

Stay away from the 71R. If u want to run 20psi, the RS is going to be pushing hot air. GT30R is way to go from here. But realise, 20psi on a GT30 flows alot more then a your RS at 20psi. Its not...
