Stock brake pads for cl9 would leave deposits on the rotor, thus the shuddering when breaking from higher speeds. I also had a similar thing.

I changed the rotors and pads and perfect braking...

oh. I dont have any noise so far. Keen to see how you go with the build, even help and observe if you see fit.

I had something similar, the clear coat had been etched. No amount of polishes helped. I got a sanding bar 2000 grit. Lightly did it then used meguiars 105m polish compound. Came out excellent.
