my dc2r and gf's EG have different problems going into reverse but have the same solution
dc2r: just doesnt go in, feels like something is blocking the way

Even taking it down a 1cm or so will make a difference

Yeah I've had to resort to guard rolling.
Wouldn't have rolled my guards for any other rim but I found my dream rims at +35 offset :)

pretty slammed and 205/45 tyres just like yours

My 16x7" +35 is almost flush.. 15x8 +0 will hang outside the guard an extra 48mm.
