I have a B16A that I am looking to replace the OEM dizzy with COP. The AEM EPM looks to be a good option for the cam/crank signals and purpose built for the b series.
Has anyone fitted one and if...
Yep, know all that. Thanks for the feedback. Body mods aren't my concern. I already have a Vtec mini that I replaced a lot of panels on and did a few body mods for the Vtec conversion. I'm already...
Yep, seen the superfastmini page and know all about their kit.
Im more interested in knowing if the sequential box is available. Quafie look to do a good one for B16/18 but there is no mention about...
You really need to split the cluster loom into 3. ECU, engine loom and mini loom.
Engine- alternator, temp sensor, speed sensor etc,
ECU- Tacho, warning light etc
Mini- lights, fuel gauge,...
I see there are sequential boxes out there but no mention of an AWD version.
Might sound weird but I'm considering this idea for my Vtec mini which would...

Yep. It is definitely cool to know you when you get to 5000 rpms that you still have 3000 rpms before changing gears.
Even better knowing it gains more power at this point.
It's interesting to see the comparison of the B16A (blue)vs the supercharged 1275 mini engine. (Red)
Vtec kicks in at 5500Rpms which has been setup to ensure there is no dip in power.
Pretty...
ECU now mapped correctly. Nothing went bang which is a bonus. Pulled 88Kw at 8200Rpms at the wheels which is about right for a stock B16A. Very happy with the result.

I have a Y80 trans from a 94-95 Integra and the reading from the speed sensor is 2.5mV to 100mV when it should be pulsating from 0V-5V.
Can these be repaired? Or do they have to be replaced?
There is a guy in Lilydale that I have previously used to tune my ECU. I also have contact with the support person of Autronic who will assist with some of the setup to maximise power and drivability...
It's back together now. A wheel alignment has been done and it aligned quite nicely. No head aches.
I made up some wheel arch liners out of 1.5mm HDPE to keep the water and dirt away from the...
First test drive today. Excellent outcome. No issues. The ECU still needs to be tuned properly but it was good to go around the block a few times.

Im now getting to the pointy end of the build now.
Greased up the suspension and ball joints.
The clutch pedal travels a bit too far so I had to add a block of rubber to the back of the pedal as...
