I can't find anything regarding whether a loom is required when doing the carby conversion, nor do can I find if the D16Y1 and D15B4 are 100% interchangeable without swapping anything over...

My poor old ED6's D15B4 is leaking a shitload of oil and blows a whole bucketload of...

I'm going to do it... The D16Y1 head should bolt straight on... I guess we'll have to see :)

IMO the easiest and cheapest conversion for an ED (considering we all got dual carbies) is to stick a D16Y1 motor in it and leave it carburetted... That's what I'll be doing... Either that...

Because the car is Carbureted it can be tuned manually, basically meaning I can attempt to tune it myself. Having a wideband on a carby car means that I can tune it as I drive.

The car is carbureted though, I didn't think that it would need an o2 sensor... That's why I'm asking if anyone has any experience regarding these 'computer controlled' carbs...

With a proper launch it'll do 0-97kph in about 5 secs... But I have to change to 3rd to hit 100kph; so it does it in about 6.5... :(

best 1/4 run is a 14.1@98mph

it's actually gx 2.2, but it's got billies in it, upgraded brakes, and semi-leather front seats with the drivers seat being motorised...
edit: and it's got the RX bodykit on it and has had a respray...
