yup as said before lane splitting is illegal - do it while there is a motorbike cop around and u'll get pinned.... it's not very safe to do so either cause cars do try and switch lanes still

all depends on different models to - i rode a early 03 model 600rr and it was just as heavy as my 05 r1 that i had... but i can understand not wanting to go 1000cc bike as it is pretty rediculious...

i wouldn't go a r1 again - i've riden a r6 before and i've owned a r1 for the good part of last year and the r1 is just spastic stupid power... it is very very fun and the speeds u can get up to is...

seriously thou - if ur mate wants to actually get into riding for a while and go through and get his full licence - tell him to start off with a 125 or a 250 it's worth it learning road craft and how...

well going on ur theory last year woulda been a prime example considering he was 17 points ahead in the championship with 2-3 rounds to go .....

i've riden both - i felt very comfortable on both and both have pro/cons...

cbr600rr felt good all round.... and i would get one if i was in the market .... but the r6 does feel more like u can...

will most tracks abide by which bike u are allowed to ride on L's, P's and fulls???

i just feel for the price of picking up a single R u might as well spend the extra cash and pick up a RR....

yea - click on nsw and i'm sure there's courses u can take in nsw / sydney

LOL - i should say the cbr250r isn't a good bike but the others arn't to bad... eg... 250RR's and the VTR ....

but i wouldn't recommend the single R

i've had a cbr250r and wasn't very much of a good learning bike....

after that i got a aprilia rs125 and i will say it's a very nice bike to ride - not very idle happy as its a 2 stroke but it's...

i'd love to go to a track day but no leathers and me being in boring old canberra it's a treck to go to one ... :(

nsw and sydney - u do a stay upright course..... i think in sydney there is a wait to get in as there are a lots of ppl wanting to get a licence...

u hold your L's for 3 months then you need to...

test drove a 09 euro auto lux, honestly wasn't really fussed on it ... interior is good and all features is awesome but really wasn't impressed on handling and the power... thou does sound very...

yea i was thinking that - but i thought that the lights were trigged to turn on through the H4 style plug.. cause it's a hi/lo blub and the hi beam works it's just the HID that doesn't turn on
