User DonGak please PM me your email address as I cannot reply to your PM
I have replied to your PM
Sent you a PM about the module
Your P3Y ECU is much like our P2K ECU for the D16Y4, so yes you will need a bypass module for those ECU's.
Once the bypass module is installed you must then bypass the starter cut relay by jumping...
You will need a bypass module for that ECU.
if your ECU looks different to the one in the DIY then you need to purchase a bypass module.
I can supply you with one if needed.
Hi
I'm guessing your not in Australia as that Immobiliser Control unit differs from our Megamos Control Unit. Your friends ECU would probably be the P2P type (two ECU connectors) that is...
yeah that is the OBDII code when you remove the immo module for non AUDM ECU's
let me know if you need the bypass module (dummy chip as you described)
Do you get an error code with the immo board removed ?
you need a Immo bypass module for that ECU
PM me if you would me to supply you with one.
OBDIIA ECU's with the IMMO-AO immobiliser system will run if you remove the board but the engine lamp stays on and you cant read codes.
This DIY will not work on those ECU's. You will need the Immobiliser bypass module, I can supply you with one if needed.
Thanks for the pictures and info. Im not sure why your ECU is working the way it is, however since its all good best not to touch it.
If the engine runs with out that board I'm truly amazed. Is it an AUDM ECU and Engine?.
AUDM was B16A2, JDM was B16A, not sure about EM1 SI, we got the VTIR Coupe that was the EM1.
JDM...
Well last night I removed the HIC-FX01 board from a P2T ECU (OBD2B AUDM ECU) and then it did not run, it would not even self test.
How about some pics of your ECU munster42, I would love to see...
The ECU should not start with the HIC-FX01 board removed.
you cannot bypass the immobiliser on that ECU with this DIY, as mentioned on the first page you need a bypass module if you have a different ECU to that of the DIY.
I can provide a Immo Bypass...
JDM DC2R ECU does not have a Immo so plug and play
however you must disable the EK Immo module if your not using the EK programmed Keys
I did receive your PM. I have replied to you with a bypass PCB option
this DIY does not work on the P2K ECU as its a totaly different type of ECU
