na its not the hose thats leakin its the actual welds or watever like where its circled... took it mechanic n he topped up the water then put sum pump thing wit pressure gauge n as he pumped the...

any advice on the cheapest alternative? its pretty much just a wife beater at the moment cuz im yet to find funds for the project :p

maybe u should take it to a different mechanic, it doesnt seem like yours has much experience with hondas otherwise he would have found the problem by now, rather than you asking advice on the net...

on the link i posted it says the FITV handles cold start so that might be ur problem?

i think he ment that since its a b16a gearbox then it came from a vtec engine since a b16a has got vtec... but your wondering if the number indicates anything about being from a vtec engine or not...

is it mostly for street use? either way you should change the brakes assuming the rears just got drums?
