this has been covered before..but srsly, with intensions of only going "fast" your goner get into trouble. first car? i would advise looking for a reliable car rather than a fast car, so you can get used to the road, difference conditions etc.
im a P plater, my self and im a pretty safe driver but, its hoons that give P platers a generalised bad image.
