EG Brake Rotor Sizes, Difference between models

Hi,

just wondering if anyone has any information on the brake differences between 1991-1995 EG civic models.

I dont mean what models come with discs or drums but actual sizes or part number differences.

I'm particularly interested in info on differences between the gli and vti front brakes.

i was under the impression that all eg vti models were equipped with 262mm rotors and the gli's had 240mm rotors. Although when i checked out a 1993 vti sedan it only had 240mm rotors on it?

I checked out both the Bendix and DBA listings and they both list 91-95 vti civics with 262mm rotors.

Bendix list pads for a gli as - DB1259
vti as - DB1262

The pads i pulled off the vti that i checked matched up to a DB1259, a Gli pad?

don't some 92-96 integras come with 262mm rotors in 4x100? are these a straight swap/upgrade for the gli's 240mm's?

any help or info would be much appreciated

yeah all came with the 240 mm
eg6 came with 262mm and vtir teg with 262mm
straight swap mate
u will need more with your set up lol

ah ok thanks lan. don't know why bendix and dba list the vti's as having 262mm's then?

its because the european listing for vti = eg6

all eg have dba473 front disc's (240mm)

and db1259** pads

You'll have to swap the entire knuckle to get 262mm rotors to fit.

Brian Hasty of Fastbrakes makes a kit to fit larger rotors on the 242mm rotor, but shipping will probably kill that deal.
