Can full licence drive legally display L plates?

Hi all,

Quick question, as stated in the title; Can a fully licenced driver, drive around legally displaying L plates?

No... only if an actual Learner licensed driver is driving the vehicle.

Reason I ask is, I remember reading somewhere, that you can display plates that are below your licence level, but not the other way around.

For eg. Green P licence can display red P plates
Red P licence can't display green P plates.

For cops only, remember cops have double standards.

But seriously if a FULL LICENSED person gets pulled over and busted with L-P-plates on they will cop a fine and maybe a few points.

You can if you have a learners instructor permit =P

If you do get pulled over, you can probably just talk it off. Its not like its a serious or dangerous offence. You can always contest the fine anyway, its silly.
