    Unhappy Swapping dash cluster bulbs?

    Hey Guys,

Here I am again confused as usual

    for those who dont know:
    I have a 1993 Eg4 civic 3 dr hatch.

I have noticed in the month of having the car that driving at night sucks as my dash lights are incredibly dull even when the light swich is turned to full its hardly lit at all.

Is it possible to change the bulbs to brighter ones? or maybe even the colour with LED lights?

    Thank you.
    Becca

yes, it is possible to change them to LED's, I'm pretty sure the bulbs are t5's and t10 wedges...
While driving the other day, I saw a banana peel on the road and instinctively swerved to avoid it... thanks Mario Kart.

I'm not sure if any of the DIYs are going to improve the brightness but you can use it as reference to take stuff apart etc. Heaps of other random DIY on there. i.e convert a honda accord to run on trash: http://www.instructables.com/id/Conv..._run_on_trash/

quite possible to do all that.
they might be dull simply because a few arent working, so its best to chcek that. you will actually find that putting leds in wont make anything any brigter. on the back of the dials, there is glue sorta stuff, that prevents light shining thru so much.
if you can find leds that project light a bit better than some, that only shine light in one direction. i found that they are pointless because of this glue.

but my 2 cents would be just change all the bulbs to normal bulbs and see how you go.

like lan said, there are a few threads in the diy section on how to change the lights in your cluster.
