    Head Unit Problem (CRV)

Hey guys. yesterday i decide to install a amp in my CRV 2000.
I did all the wiring (Power,RCA,Ground ect).
After i connect the battery back on and turn the car on, the cd player won't turn on?
is it my wiring's such as remote wiring :S?

when you disconnect and reconnect the battery you will need to punch in the code to get it back on, the code is provided in the manual book, 5 digit... this code is anti-theft system...

im not sure about CRV but this happens to me when i disconnected my battery for a different reason...

if you dont have the code then you can go to honda and ask for it, but you will need the serial number from the back of your headunit so that they cant find your code and give it to you free of charge...

well basically, remote is for the amp it has nothing to do with the cd player wont turning on.. did you check the harness if its connected ok to the cd player? check if the power and gnd cable of the cd player is connected and the ignition wire aswell?? also check the fuse u might hav blown a few ,

does your amp turning on but ur cd player arent turning on?

Do you have a testing meter? If you do.. you might need to use that to help you out and make your job a lil easier

have you check the remove cable and see if that is connected from the back of your deck and screwed in, in your amp?

check that 1 out, and check the ground cable..
