    EG k20 vs EG sr20

This question has been on my mind for quite some time. Would a EGK20 beat a EG with a SR20T engine from a Gti Pulsar?

    VS

    EGSR20

why the sr20det from a gti-r in FR form? why not keep the AWD from the gti-r too? have you considered a rb26dett??

But if i had to choose..i'd say the turbo is faster

k20 has better gear ratio's too with 6 speed gearbox
and jdm itr power is over 160 kw

and having a gtir sr20 motor in a eg will cost alot more to fit
but why would you when you could just turbo the k20

THERE ARE TOO MANY VARIABLES, FFS

In reality its probably more effective to get a GTi-R then to fit the SR20 into an EG (and then try and get rear wheel action?)

You get the SR20, You get the AWD Nostalge, You get the old school nostalge with it aswell.

In reality its going to come down to alot of things, money is the first that comes to mind.

like I said above, too many variables, if you want to do more home work on it have a look into what N/A SSS Pulsar drivers are accomplishing, then just add turbo (which I know a few are doing)

....you're a pain, back to the lounge Chunkette. lol

In reality you'd be getting the same thing with the SR20 option because the GTi-R and the EG have similar wheel bases.

    Nissan Pulsar GTI-R — Wheelbase: 2430 MM (95.7 in)

Honda Civic (EG) - Wheel Base: 2570 MM (101.1)

What you'd have to deal with is converting the chassis to AWD/RWD and the headache of when things start breaking.

With the K20 he'd be stuck with FWD fun, still have stuff breaking (depending on how its driven) but not quiet as severe and I'd imagine the other conversion to be.

I'd rather a K24 Hybrid with around 200 kilawasps if your serious about doing a big horsepower conversion.

FYI I'm 100% the EG K20 will be faster on a roll start from first hand experience

the SR20 will be old and worn, so it would have lost some ponies.
