    Buddy Club Spec 4 Camshafts

    Hi there,

i am currently in the proccess of building a mildish b18c7 motor. Car will be daily driven with track days every so often.

I would like to know if BC Spec 4 Cams can be run on a stock bottom end of a B18C7. Valve train will be upgrade ofcourse with ITB induction. I have found dyno graphs on Spec 3 cams with very similar mods to what im doing but cannot find any who have done it with BC spec 4 cams. (Cammed Motors Specs Thread Link) http://www.ozhonda.com/forum/showthr...=91415&page=33

I know they say you should run more compresion hence im going with a BC head gasket 0.5mm but will this raise compession enough to suit the BC spec 4 cams.

Parts that are already paid for are

    TWM ITB's 50mm
    BC Cams (Still Deciding)
    BC Head Gasket 0.5mm
    BC Cam Gears
    BC Ti Retainers
    BC Valve Springs
    s300
    I/H/E

any info will be greatly appreciated

Nice list of mods.. Get it rid of the b18c bottom end and do a b20vtec upgrade. Instant torque.

To run BC4 cams you will need at least 12.5 to 1 or higher comp in a 1800cc engine. This thread has 1 engine in it with a B18C fitted with the BC4 cams http://www.ozhonda.com/forum/showthr...=119188&page=4
