Hmmm heated and compressed aye. Please do tell, sounds good!
How much would it cost?
-
Around $100 for a pair.
Come to think of it, you can grab a pair of rear Superlow springs for about $150 lol
-
Cheers!
I thought of that but wouldn't it handle bad then?
-
your car will never handle good with stock shocks and king springs, i had that set up for a year, i had no confidence with my crx, until recently i bought coilovers, my suggestion would be to leave it the way it is, save some money and buy a decent set of adjustable coilovers, you can change the height to your liking that way. It's the most rewarding thing you can do for your ride man.
-
Thanks mate.Your right,I haven't got confidence with the set up but to to put coilovers in legally, would cost $2700 for Tein Fulcrum SS,which is too expensive.
Anyways,I dont really care about the handling aspect anymore, more so the gap.

king springs will sag over time putting more weight in it will mke it happen faster

What do you mean by to put coilovers in legally?
-
Not the best phrasing but coilovers need to be ADR approved to be leagal.
Check this thread out.
-
Brett, what the **** are you doing?
Just get some Koni yellows and lower the spring perch.
**** the ADR, they can get you for anything they want!
also what you doing with a set of SSRs but your still on stock shocks
-
haha,Cheers Trav!
That does sound like a plan.
How far do you think it will allow me to drop it?
Yeah,I had BIG plans and was gonna use the SSR's for showy drag rims but the plans fell through...but all good,I'm Happy as Larry!

kings springs do sag over time as said before, if you probably drive around for another year you will notice.
you have king springs which handle like shit anyway. might aswell just cut them a bit. get the right height. lol , or get whiteline springs.
end of day king springs are pretty lameskies. the other guy had a clever idea of returning them
-
If I can lower the height by changing the old shocks,I'll do that.
