    Custom EK grill?

    I was looking at this months background, and a thought came to me. I have never seen an EK civic grill with any sort of object in the middle other than stock or mesh (the pics better explain what I mean).

    So I took 5 mins to convert the pic to what I think looks cool. I have two questions;

    1. What are your opinions of these grills? good looking? would you put one on your EK?

    2. Is there already a grill/a few grills that look like this? where can they be found if so?

    I personally think they look pretty classy, and are a nice variation, without being too different.

    If there aren't any like them, I'm probably going to get to work on modding my old stock grill to see if its do-able.

    1. I wouldn't put it on my car cause i'm into the JDM brands and styling. But don't let the stop you from doing your own styling's
    2. There is another type of grill on the market, i'm using the Mugen grill (the car on the right). You can also just punch out the stock grill and make it look type R without the mesh like my friend (on the left).

    I also put my old pic from back in the day when i had the type R grill.

    Cool. But most importantly, do you like the look? Even if you wouldn't have it, do you think it looks good? worth doing?

    Thanks for all the replies.

    Personally no i don't like it, but everyone to their opinions i guess.
    If you do it, you'll definitely have a unique grill.

    im not feeling the mugen grille. << OPINION PLS GTFO

    but true that the ctr grille is too plain.

    what im thinking is placing a jdm black honda badge right in the middle of the mesh for non-r's, or the red one for r's. should give it that little extra someting without being too out there.
    naturally i finished my set.
