Alonso is a big big threat! But in saying that he has no more engines left where as webber still has 1 left. So I'm sure we will see a 10 grid penalty for Ferrari in the next round or 2 or the extra engine.

i want him to win before he retires but i have a feeling his going to lose it in the next 4 races, Alonso seems to be on fire and could easily steal it from him

was a good race by Webber - particularly since he didnt qualify well..

hopefully he gets his chassis under control and starts to put down more competitive times..

Suzuka 'should' be an RBR win but you just never know..
Id love to see Mark take out the WDC but he needs to keep that buffer in the points or better yet extend his lead..
I still think RBR should put their eggs with MW and get the team behind him - hes got a race win points lead on SV.
If SV was ontop i know they would have backed him all the way - just cant see why they cant do the same for MW.

Alonso has really stepped up his game and right now hes the favourite imo (dual world champ - used to the pressure etc etc)

Hamilton has been real unlucky (some say stpuid) but i think his car isnt up to scratch with the RBR or Ferrari.. although they are bringing an upgrade to Japan.

Easily the most exciting F1 season in a while

    what a great race.

I just love watching Kobayashi race, 5 overtakes at the hairpin !

Hopefully he'll be a real contender next year with the billionaire sponsor for sauber or with a better team.

So heading into Brazil this weekend..

I somewhat feel abit empty inside - as Alonso takes an 11 point lead over Webber it makes you wonder what would have happened if those 7 points got docked for the 'Ferrari team orders' incident.
It would be a great shame if Alonson won with 7 points or less and I'm sure the F1 community will see it the same way.
Sure we can argue that everytime has team orders but for it to be so controversial would leave a bad taste imo.

Anyway I think he is in the box seat for the WDC - and as much as I would like Webber to win (long time fan) I think Alonso has the skill and the car to do it and RBR will collect constructors
Alonso will be on the podium for both races pending some reliability issue or someone launching into him (Vettell maybe lol)

As long as Vettell doesnt win tbh LOL - I'll be satisfied with the 2010 season.

    i wonder if,

    vettel is coming first.
    mark webber second.
and alonso moves up to top 5 somewhere
at this point vettel is out of the WDC
it would then be up to him to decide whether alonso or webber takes the WDC
would he do it without team orders?
    hmmmmmmmmmmmmm

all i know is it will be a cracker of a race!

i really hope mark can wrap up the WDC.. but wont be unhappy of Alonso does

RBR wont issue team orders as the owner specifically said that the team will not favour one or the other
But Horner and Adrian Newey have both said that no team orders will be issued however a decision will be made by the drivers on their own if they find themselves out of WDC contention.. i.e. SV to yield for MW for the race win.. or SV to crash into alonso LOL jk

    gutted...

    absolutely gutted...

lol @ alonso after the race.. what a douche

ah well onto the 2011 season - where I will be supporting MW again, but not the RBR team for reasons such as team management, dynamic etc..
Unfortunately MW will offically be the #2 driver and i can see that impacting on him next year..

Mercedes GP and Nico Rosberg for 2011 WDC - hahahah
