well i duno if too many people have experienced this, but my gear box is making a funny noise when in 1st and second gear.
took it too a honda specialist and they told me it was the main bearing.

was wondering if anyone has had this prob before and how much did it cost to get it repaired.
or is it hard to do on your own?

    cheers

40-50 bux for the input shaft bearing (mainshaft bearing)
    Similarly for the countershaft bearing

    Parts are cheap
Labour will fug u over, unless u got the balls to try it yourself. Isnt too hard to do. Just requires patience.

i'm not sure if there is a difference to be honest.

i duno wheather to spend 500-600 on fixing the noise, or spend 2200 for a front cut and get a b16a?

    what do you think dood??
