    Good engine oil for 98 DC2 with 140xxx kms

    As title says.. im after a good oil for my 98 vti-r which has just clicked 140xxx km's

    best to stick to honda oem engine oil.

    and i just go down to local honda dealer.. how much approx is a 4ltr (if they come in that size)

    i use royal purple in my h22 eg. i could definately feel smoother revving once i started using it.
    although it is $100 for 5L so OEM Honda oil is probably more worthwhile if you're not giving your car too much of a beating.

    well i do enjoy spirited driving but I think $100 for oil is a little out of my budget at the moment. I'll go with the oem oil I think for now.

    you cannot go wrong with OEM oil... just keep an eye on it... the oil you use can sometimes be dictated by the condition of your engine. For example, if it burns oil, you may look at a thicker oil etc...
