how many cars can u own under the same name?

hi there. im just curious on how many cars can you register (rego) in the same name ? same goes with insurance. im looking to buy a car but dont want it under my name too expensive.

I know the maximum you can buy/sell in a year is 5 in VIC to protect liscensed car sellers from losing business, but as for owning them I think it's as many as you feel like.

Max of 5 allowed to seel without a dealership license.
Rego as many as you want.

correct, there is no limit to how many you can own, but there is a limit to how many you can sell

i got a letter from qld transport telling me that i was allowd to sell 5 cars a year without being fined, because i sold 4 cars that year

why would you do it anyways, 5 lots of insurance, rego and services and parts.
you'd go poor unless you shat money for a living and if thats the case give me your number haha
